Fly into Guadalajara international airport on July 23. . Pickup will be arranged to take you from the airport to the hotel, Hilton Guadalajara Midtown.

  • Breakfast at 8am provided at the hotel
  • Lecture from 8am-12pm
    • Lecture will include discussion of specific cases that will be conducted over the next two days
  • Lunch at 12pm provided at the hotel
  • Surgical videos review and Hands-on demonstration from 1-4pm
  • Group dinner at 7:00 pm near the hotel
      • Transportation to and from dinner will be provided
  • Breakfast 7am provided at the hotel
    • Transportation to surgical facility center provided
  • Surgery at surgical facility center from 8am-5pm
    • Lunch, snacks, and refreshments provided throughout the day
    • Breaks to review individual cases will occur throughout the day
    • Transportation back to the hotel at the end of the surgical day provided

    Dr. Jonathan Misch

    DDS, MS

    Dr. Jonathan Misch is a dedicated dental professional focused on elevating the standard of education in the field of implantology. As the current president of the Misch Implant Institute, an institution founded by his father, he has begun to infuse the institute’s approach to education with fresh perspectives. Dr. Misch holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery and is completing a Master’s degree in Periodontal Biology from the University of Michigan. His academic and clinical excellence were recognized with the Periodontal Alumni Award, the Donald Kerr Periodontal Scholarship, and a finalist position in the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation’s Balint Orban Memorial Research Competition for his impactful research on the Prosthetic Impact on Peri-Implant Bone Loss. Before stepping into his current role, Dr. Misch honed his team-building skills on the field as a starting linebacker for Michigan State University’s 2010 Big Ten Championship-winning team. In his pursuit to provide top-tier learning experiences, Dr. Misch utilized his experience with team building to bring on accomplished course directors, esteemed for their expertise in course development and implant education. Together, they created the Misch Mentorship Program, emphasizing the importance and power of continuous learning. Dr. Misch further enhanced the Institute’s offerings by introducing the Misch Educator faculty position, and together with his course directors, recruited globally-renowned professionals to share their unique expertise at Institute weekends. These collective efforts highlight Dr. Misch’s commitment to enhancing the educational landscape, upholding the Institute’s pioneering roots while propelling it into a promising future. As a lecturer, Dr. Misch focuses on the topic of his thesis, understanding the factors that influence peri-implant bone remodeling.

    Our esteemed Co-Director of Education and clinical assistant professor at the University of Michigan, Dr. Saleh is celebrated for his expertise in implant dentistry. With rich private practice experience, coupled with an impressive educational journey, including degrees and residencies from universities such as Cairo University and the University of Louisville, his relentless pursuit of excellence sets him apart. As a scholar, he has pioneered research in periodontics and implant therapies. The institute is privileged to have Dr. Saleh enrich its programs with invaluable insights and unwavering dedication to Periodontics and Oral Medicine.

    Dr. Assi earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University where he also finished a post-graduate AEGD residency enhancing his skills. Dr. Assi’s commitment to education and his passion for Implant Dentistry led him to pursue additional training in Dental Implantology at the prestigious Misch Implant Institute where he graduated as a Fellow with a dual certification in Implant Surgery and Prosthodontics.

    Dr. Assi holds a Diplomate status with the American Board of Oral Implantology, a Diplomate status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and a Diplomate status with the International Dental Implant Association. Dr. Assi is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Also, he received Fellowship and Mastership Implant Certifications with DentalXP in affiliation with NYU.

    Currently, Dr. Assi is a Co-Chairman for the Oral Implantology Residency Program at the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic, an Expert and Clinical Instructor at DentalXP, a Faculty at Salama Implant Institute of Miami, and a Faculty at the Misch Implant Institute. Dr. Assi serve as an examiner for the American Academy of Implant Dentistry credentialing process for Fellowship and Associate Fellowship Exams, and also as an editorial reviewer for the Journal of Oral Implantology.  

    Dr. Assi has published several articles in implant dentistry and lectures nationally and internationally, sharing his passion for implant dentistry. Believing in co-elevation, he founded the Alpha Study Club as an educational platform for clinicians to share knowledge and experiences.

    Dr. Assi is in private practice as an Oral Implantologist at Alpha Dental Practice & Implant Center which he founded over a decade ago utilizing a prosthetically driven approach and cutting-edge digital technology.

    Dr. Assi enjoys giving back to the community and participates in dental missions both nationally and overseas.

    Javier Calatrava’s received his Master’s in Periodontology and Implantology from Complutense University of Madrid, where he serves as a collaborating professor, and a PhD Candidate investigating the biologic impact of implant prosthetics. An internationally acclaimed speaker and author, Dr. Calatrava is an invaluable asset to the Misch Educator team.
